1. Purpose

Bro Code is a private community for adult members to share first-hand dating experiences, positive feedback, concerns, and safety-related information. It is not a background-check service, law-enforcement database, credit-reporting service, or substitute for your own judgment and safety precautions.

2. Eligibility and access

You must be at least 18 years old, use your own account, provide accurate signup information, follow the community rules, and complete any membership review required by Bro Code. Access may be limited, suspended, or removed for safety, abuse prevention, policy violations, or operational reasons.

3. First-hand and truthful submissions

You may submit only experiences you personally had or directly witnessed. Do not knowingly submit false, misleading, fabricated, retaliatory, or materially incomplete claims. Opinions should be clearly presented as opinions and tied to the facts you personally experienced.

4. Prohibited content

Do not submit home addresses, phone numbers, workplaces, financial account information, government identification numbers, passwords, private contact details, explicit sexual images, threats, slurs, stalking requests, revenge content, instructions to harass someone, or content that unlawfully invades another person's privacy.

5. Moderation

Reports may be held for review before publication. Bro Code may reject, edit for privacy, restrict, dispute, archive, or remove content when reasonably necessary to enforce these terms or community rules. Moderation does not guarantee that every published statement is complete, accurate, or verified.

6. Review and correction requests

Members may request re-review of a published report. Moderators may request additional context and may keep, correct, restrict, or remove content after review. Abuse of the review process may result in account restrictions.

7. No harassment or off-platform retaliation

Information from Bro Code may not be used to threaten, harass, stalk, shame, dox, intimidate, contact someone's employer or family, or organize retaliation against any person.

8. Account security

Keep your password private and notify Bro Code if you believe your account has been compromised. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by law.

9. Beta service

Bro Code is in private beta. Features, moderation processes, availability, and these terms may change as the service develops. Material policy changes should be reflected by a new version date and may require renewed acceptance.

10. Legal review before public launch

These beta terms are an operational policy draft and are not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney. Before broader public release, Bro Code should obtain legal review covering defamation, privacy, data retention, platform liability, consumer protection, and applicable state and federal law.
